Wow! Sorry I forgot to post my results. Good to go for another six months.....no BIG C in sight.
Are you really a BULLY, DR Laura? i find that hard to believe.
Finishing up a Jane Smiley novel, At Paradise Gate, that has been hard to take, which is probably why I wanted to read it. It's about a family gathering in the old homestead while the father is dying.
I guess I REALLY need to make some changes in my sleeping habits.
Everyone knows sleep is important, but most of the articles I see on how to sleep better seem to assume that their suggestions are all doable. What if you have noisy neighbors? What if you live in an apartment and can't control your environment that much? Ugh!

I got the new double-disc True Stories set and Hitchcock's Notorious. I could watch that latter movie as much as Casablanca. I don't know why, but I usually can't find something I want when the sales are on. I hate that. My problem is that I can't recall what I wanted when the sale is on. I now keep a list and just wait until the price is right.

Fat Tuesday was a BIG deal when we lived outside of Detroit. It seemed as if everyone was eating a paczki. I never did get to try one of these.

Because of the attention that Co-op has brought to the original Pennebaker documentary about the recording of Company, apparently Criterion is going to release the original.https://www.rogerebert.com/chazs-blog/the-oral-history-of-documentary-nows-co-op-episode

I have seen them deep fried and filled with all sorts of fillings. I looked up your question and found this...."Paczki are made of a very rich, sweet yeast dough consisting of eggs, butter and milk, donuts' dough is usually not nearly as rich. ... About the only difference is that Pączki uses a richer dough than jelly donuts or Berliners."
The great Jude Kaye has somehow been cast as both Barbara Cartland and Queen Elizabeth in a new musical version of Princess Diana.
