I hope at least the elevator was working so you didn't have to WALK UP.

I would have preferred the stairs. Instead you have to badge out, wait for the elevator, badge in on the new floor, get your coffee, badge out, ride down and badge in again.

That sounds terribly annoying. Does it mean you are not allowed to take the stairs? I prefer the stairs whenever possible.

I always take the stairs when able. Up to 10 or so stories.

I am glad the stairs do not require a badge to use them.

My tale:

I went to the store and was able to get the parking spot closest to the store, not only that but I was able to "pull through" so I was facing out and my passenger door was nearest the store.

The car next to me was parked so the rear of that car was next to the front of mine

DR Vixmom, how frightening! I'm happy those people were there. Perhaps they are angels and you will never see them again. I believe one helped me in 2013 when this affliction struck me and I needed serious help on Broadway.

Much as I detest and long to read the obituary of President Trump, I do agree with him about Bill de Blasio. He's been as lousy a mayor as Giuliani, and I blame the New York Animal Care Center euthanasia and silent kills on the cronies he's put in charge.
