There will not be news of our coming new status on facebook.  I haven't been given an ok, and might not until February, to put anything there.

Back from the wake or whatever one calls it.  Apparently there were over 100 people there - I got there at three and it was still crowded but not like that.  I mostly sat with Sami and her mom.  Everyone seemed to be in the right spirit of celebrating a life rather than mourning a death.

Good attitude to have.

Watching a French indy called La Vie de Jesus. It has nothing to do with the life of Christ.

It sounds like a nice celebration of life.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Had some faux chicken stroganoff over rice for my meal o' the day.  It was good.  Not too terribly caloric either.

Now, if I can just avoid the urge to run out and get a sweet I'll be fine.

The dough for the galette crust is made. Since I couldn't get all the blueberries I wanted at Costco, it is going to be a cherry, raspberry and blueberry galette.

Sometimes Keith orders from the Best Buy website to pick up the item in the store, even picking it up a couple of hours later.

Jane, thanks for reminding me of that option. And yes, sales. Big sales.

However, my sister, who is going to drive, has to pick me up before 10:30 because the street where I live will be closed from 10:30 to 1:00 pm for the Tumwater Fourth of July parade.

Fortunately(?), TA:E is three hours long, so it'll be over after the road has reopened.
