Vixmom has once again confirmed her position as Bargain Queen of HHW!

(Admittedly, DR George often rivals her for that position.)

Congrats on the new washer! May it give you many years of good service!

Don't worry, Jeanne...I'll get that crown back!  I'll be the Bargain Queen of HHW again!!

;D

I think you and TCB already share the crown, you did much better with your laundry appliance purchases than I did

We rushed out for a quick walk after finding out they weren't coming.  We returned just as it was getting dark.

We needed the walk as instead of exercising this morning we went to the dermatologist for our yearly torture.  Well, Keith's yearly & my 6 months.

We were both sprayed excessively & I had 2 biopsies done.  In spite of the biopsies the doctor said I didn't have to return for a year.  I am hoping that timeline will not change after the results come in.  It has happened a few times over the years.

Well, I need to be going.  My friend Margo and I are going to see the Downton Abbey movie.  Neither of us has seen the TV show, so it'll be interesting to see if the story is very dependent on TV knowledge.  We'll see.

Be back later.

Watching the last of Blonde Venus. Didn't realize it was giong to be this melodramatic. It's good, but it's also a little depressing.

Stumble-through went surprisingly well, really - pretty amazing.  It's really fun, pace is great, and the company just has to drill their lyrics.  Actually, it took until halfway through act one for someone to flub, and then everyone caught the flub bug.  But we ran stuff and we should be ready.

They now offer an unlimited delivery service for only $99.00 a year, if you sign up for the year.  That works out to around $8.35 a month, for as many deliveries as you need.  The only stipulation is that your order must total $30.00 or more.

I'm home.  It turns out that Margo has seen some of the early seasons, so she knew more about the characters.

That is really a great deal.  Hell, $30.00 is a can of tuna, a loaf of bread, and maybe a jar of mayo.

I know that there is a lot of background info on the characters that I don't know about, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.  It was a really good feel-good movie.

They just did a comedy bit where John Lithgow plays Rudy Giuliani.
