Congrats to DR TCB on his millstone.

I have played Grandpa before - and there is another actor who wants to play it, so he can have all those lines.

It is also the July play and I am directing the June musical, so my rehearsal time would be limited until after that.  I really don't want to put the director at that disadvantage......

Of course NOW I am old enough to play the role and probably too old for Kolenkhov....so we shall see what we shall see.

I will spend today writing my director's note for the website and posting a story announcing the names of the directors.

I just remembered I had a small scoop of pepermint cocoa ice cream while we were treveling.   It was interesting but not enjoyable enough to finish it.

Happy New Year greetings!  We made it to midnight, just barely.  This morning we’ve had bacon & egg sandwiches and now we’re watching the Rose Parade.

Heathen

Exactly.  I love sauerkraut and Gulden's on a hot dog, or fried with sausages or pork.  I have this vague - very vague - memory of my Appalachian grandmother frying sauerkraut with apples.

Oh yes...sauerkraut fried  with apples in sweet butter and a little fresh pressed apple cider

And you are right, Elmoe, the only correct way to eat a hot dog is of course with guidons spicy brown mustard (none of that awful finger paint yellow stuff) and sauerkraut

Better to have more that can be scraped off than not enough. I wonder if next time you can ask for the cream cheese on the side & put it on yourself.

There was a problem with the keyboard on my tablet causing the problems last night.  My international tablet has various language keyboard options & mine was set to Spanish.  The setting symbol to change it is right under the ,! key.  This is going to happen again ::)

A first course of cinnamon rolls and coffee and Bloody Marys was inhaled a couple of hours ago. We’ve been smelling three pounds of thick sliced bacon cooking in the oven for a while, and a second course consisting of scrambled-eggs-with-cheese and bacon is about to be served. So, I guess things could be worse. :)

Annabelle has just notified me that I can only be in if she can, too.  That's because she insists on smelling everything that I eat before it gets close to my mouth.
