Yes, DR Jane. Yesterday I finished SILVER BAY by Jo Jo Moyes and today started Elizabeth Gilbert’s CITY OF GIRLS. And I’ve slept a lot.

I did get a reservation for Chez Panisse in Berkeley. I tried 12 years ago, but couldn’t get in.

While in Berkeley drive around the old Victorian Homes in Haight Ashbury.

I think Haight-Ashbury is in San Francisco, not Berkeley.

Did you like SILVER BAY? I did. I will be curious of your reaction to CITY OF GIRLS. I had to read it for my book group. I didn't want to. It was better than I expected which isn't saying much. There were mixed reactions at the discussion.

I enjoy her books. I also understand your reaction to them. I think her best book is ME BEFORE YOU. I am currently reading "The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek" by Kim Michele Richardson which you might prefer over "Giver of Stars".

My book group read the Richardson book last fall. Most of us thought it had a truer “ring” than Moyes’.
