Back from our show. So good to have our leading lady back and I must say she was at her best, which is considerable. Peyton was a bit weird in act one, but she did a great act two. Sound levels were completely off and way too low, so in addition to corrupting our lighting file (thankfully fixed before tonight) someone also clearly screwed with the sound board. I'm hopping mad about it and trying to rile Doug up to take a much tougher stance because clearly his strongly-worded e-mail about all this had no effect whatsoever. I can't babysit the show, the stage manager can't hear the sound levels properly from the booth, and Doug may or may not know something is amiss, although he knew the sound was way low. I had the SM raise the volume for act two, so that was better, but the sound designer, for the second time, now has to come in and see what they messed up and put it back the way it was.
