But she was running late for church so she just shit the garage door behind her and drove to church

:)

Yes, that did sound painful.

George, a Costco report, if you don't mind. Are the shelves bare? Not a roll of TP to be found? How about hand sanitizer?

My neighbor went to Costco (Marina del Rey store) this morning and told me that the store was mobbed at 10:30, much like the Culver City DMV, he said, with lines snaking around the building. Apparently it was panic shopping for yes, TP and hand sanitizer and such. Said neighbor has only lived in California and has never witnessed true pre-storm shopping frenzy. Pre-storm frenzy, of course, is for milk and TP. Perhaps it's time that Californians experience neuroses from other parts of the US.

Bruce, I hope that Doug takes care of things efficiently and quickly and you can soon rest easy.

Regarding remakes, I've always liked the score to DR DOOLITTLE, but felt the film could have been better. I was surprised when I learned of the new DOOLITTLE film, but question whether it'll be an improvement.

Jane, my surgery is scheduled for March 11, but it may have to be rescheduled. I have an infection that we haven't been able to identify yet and it's proving difficult to get rid of. Frustrating, as all my other appointments have been scheduled around the surgery. Sigh.

And on that note (D-flat), I'm outta here.  I need to go to Costco for a couple of things, then I'll head home.

Be back later.

Hmm.  I wonder if your Costco is out of toilet paper.

Craig said he has hand sanitizer in his classroom in his supply cabinet.  I told him to lock it up.

I also suggested a good project to do with the kids would be to make hand sanitizer.   I must remember to tell him our attempt to do so this evening was a failure.

It is still usable but rather runny as the aloe vera was one big lump that had to be removed from the alchohol  ;D

Everyone told me no one was panicking and yet... They are doing exactly that.  Fun research: Google Ebola and the other end of the world SARS type stuff - you'll think it was all happening today because the articles are exactly the same.

DR TCB have you seen any news stating they know where the COVID-19 in Seattle originated?

All the Washington deaths were from the same nursing home in Kirkland.  It appears to be Ground Zero.  It is believed to be spreading in Washington for the last six weeks.

It had to come from someplace.  I suppose they can't make the connection.

And if that pandemic isn’t bad enough, I have an attack of some little bugs in my kitchen.  They are about the size of a period (.). I don’t know what they are or where they came from.

It is like some cheap 50’s horror film.  I picked up Nicky’s used plate when I first saw them.  Then they started running up my hand and arm.  The only thing missing was Ray Milland and, maybe, Rosen Grier.

I used Clorox wipes to clean up the counter, but I don’t know where they came from.

Well, I was going to get some antiperspirant, but I dilly-dallied too long at Fred Meyer before and didn't get to Costco today. ::)
