Monday morning greetings!  So, I decided sometime between 5 and 6am, when I couldn't sleep, that physical therapy is probably "elective."  So, I called at 7:30 to cancel this morning's appointment and inquire about suspending further treatment for the time being.  Katy, the manager, said that under Medicare I can resume anytime within 2 months and that I was the 4th person to call since they'd opened at 7.

I guess the debates were not last night.....at least I couldn't find them.....unless they were only from 8-9 p.m.

I started watching THE MAJOR & THE MINOR and I was laughing so I forgot to turn the channel......until after 9 p.m. half way through the movie.

TOD:

I may work a bit on my blocking and rehearsal schedule for ANYTHING GOES.....it won't hurt.....although once the show is cast I may have to change it up because of "conflicts".....

My auditions are four weeks away, so I am hoping things calm down in the meantime.

TOD - Well, I promised Katy the PT that I would continue my ankle therapy here at home, so I'll do those exercises 2 or 3 times a day and ice afterwards.  I also have 2 online classes for DAR to complete and lots and lots of papercrafting supplies calling my name.

DR TCB are there any other grocery stores around you that deliver?  Around here they are all doing curbside pick up at no extra cost. Maybe you have something like this?  Good luck.

Speaking of voice recognition:  a couple of years ago I received a voice mail from my friend Todd regarding our upcoming trip to NYC.  According to the written transcript he said "there's a new show we might like called "Anesthesia.'"   I thought that was a strange title for a show.  Of course it should have been "Anastasia."

I'd like to declare my own physical, which is due later this week, "elective". I'll be calling them today to ask, and see if they'll grant me another refill on my prescription and let me schedule it for some time later. I've already postponed it a couple of times, so ... we'll see. Otherwise, I'll have to go in there by Friday and I really don't want to if I don't have to.

If they are sanitizing everything well, and not as busy as usual, I would go.

J heard on the news this morning that NY restaurants are closed, except for delivery and take-out.  All elective surgeries are urged to be postponed, but I have no idea if that includes me.  I will call the surgeon today.

I would think not and you have already done all of the pre-op tests.

Very nice notes and photos, and I especially appreciated the sound clips. I've developed a real appreciation for incidental music for plays, and it's nice to hear that BK has the feel for it. Listening again as I type this.

If I had the creative ability to put two notes together I'd try to write some myself, but I am no composer, no sirree. But I happily play other people's notes. I've provided tracks for an Amadeus (the music for it is included in the script) and a couple of other plays in which the intended music (classical or other public domain stuff) is specified, more or less, and you just have to go out and get it and make it happen.

That all gets prerecorded, of course, and then you're done. My absolute favorite was the Act One score which is fully integrated with the play and is played live. It's good dramatic scene setting and underscoring, and it's even written for two pianos, not one. There was no way this particular theater company was going to hire two people, though, and I (mostly successfully) condensed it to one.

After I mailed my three payments at the corner, I stopped in the corner bodega.  I knew they were expecting a bread delivery and I was hoping it had come.  There were four loaves of bread, a bag of hamburger buns, and a loaf of rye bread.  I grabbed the buns and one of the two loaves of whole wheat.  I asked the owner about a delivery, and he said  that it had arrived earlier and that was all that was left.

Dr Aronoff's office called.  The surgery is still on for Monday, but he may move it up to this week!
