During this particular stay at home thing, for me this site and a plethora of posts to read is what makes it less irritating and stultifying.  So, really, let's get off our lazy butt cheeks and get some postin' goin' on.  I has spoken.

I had a call today from a man who runs a major Equity Waiver Theater in Los Angeles.  He's interested in staging one of my one-person plays there...IF theaters ever open there (or anywhere) again.

We watched the season finale of THE ROOKIE this evening.

They ended the season with a major cliff-hanger that really didn't fit with what had come before.  Frankly, it was a turn-off.  It was such an unbelievable turn-off that I might not watch the show next season...IF there is a next season.

One-person plays can also be done online as a fundraiser.

Today, I'm going to attempt to wake up at a more or less normal, regular time.  I also need to check in with my work to see if there's anything that I can/need to do.  I know we're not ordering anything, but there still might be other things that I can do.  I also really need to go through my e-mails.  I started on Friday and worked on them for about three hours :o but I still have a ways to go.

Well, I got up earlier than I have in the last couple of weeks.  That's something. :)

I found out that we should be watching some on-line learning videos.

Some are from and specific to the library, some are previous (and optional) Zoom chats with some of the Admin, and some are required training videos.

There are only about a dozen, and most are under 30 minutes, so it shouldn't take too long to get through them all.

We actually have until the May 31 to watch them all, so that won't be any problem.

Otherwise, I only left my house to go to the local Meconi's for a sub sandwich, and I also went to my sister's do deliver a DVD that my niece had me buy for her (she paid me back for it).

I was sorry to read in a Castrecl email this morning that Twilight Time is shutting down.  There are several titles I'd like to get while they are still available, but I have no money at the moment.

Oh, no!  I get the e-mails, but I'm behind on those, so I hadn't heard. :-\

Regarding George’s post last night, I was fortunate to see Robert Yacko in the lead role in “Sunday In The Park with George” in Long Beach in October, 1986.
He was fabulous!

That's so cool!

In 1990, I returned to Long Beach to see the musical “Chess”.
Robert Yacko was wonderful as Anatoly.
Jodi Benson was Florence, and I believe Ann Morrison was Svetlana.

I would've loved to have seen this, too!

Cool today....in the fifties and maybe a bit of rain.  And that's okay.

It's raining right now, here in Tumwater, and has been for a while.

Thank you, Jrand, for your explanation of your video doctor's visit. It sounds straightforward enough.

Had cajun food from some jernt - a chicken po' boy and mac-and-cheese - the po' boy was impossible - no way to eat it was a sandwich.  It was okay tasting, but it's drizzled with remoulade, which is stated and which is fine, but they did NOT state that they then globbed on mayo all over the bread, and that made me want to gag.  I ate about a third of it with a knife and fork avoiding the mayo.  The mac-and-cheese tasted weird - I ate half and gave up.  I hate when my main meal is lousy, so I think I'll stick to the jernts I know.

It sounds awful.

Bruce, just because people are home doesn't mean they aren't busy. At home does not equal leisure.
