It was indeed a great interview. I thought the photos of both Bruce and Hartley were excellent. Bruce, the lighting in yours made me think it was taken outside. Was it?

A professional photographer friend in the East told me once that women photograph better in natural light and men in artificial. Anyone know about this?

I'm trying to avoid the AC for a while yet because of the cost, but the heat and humidity in the apartment are putting all of us to sleep.

You were able to get the AC repaired or you had to put in a new one? Either way, I'm glad you have AC.

I thought Nicholas Cage was wonderful in MOONSTRUCK. Everyone was saying how great Cher was, but I felt it was Cage who carried the film.

I need to figure out what to do with the other two. Any suggestions?

I would suggest leek and potato soup, but I don't believe you want to eat potatoes.

I stopped at Whole Foods Market today, a place I'd normally never go on Memorial Day. Under lockdown it's difficult to know whether a store will be crowded or not. It wasn't, really, but there was a long line to get in. I bought gluten-free bagels. I didn't like them at first; they don't taste anything like REAL bagels. They're not bad. You just have to put the taste of real bagels out of your mind and appreciate them for what they are.

I saw four leeks at the market the other day that were too beautiful to pass up. Tonight I used half in a salad with toasted walnuts and some cheese I brought back from Greece. It’s better than I thought it would be.

I am amazed you still have the cheese.

It's a cheese that ages. Like a real Parm, it could last for quite some time.

Anthony Geary with a full head of hair is playing Caesar Augustus/Octavius in this Antony and Cleopatra. He's not half bad.

DR Ginny, Kate was wearing a teething necklace.  It is saving her hair from being grabbed.  Have you seen them?

No, DR Jane, but there's a lot of new baby stuff since I was really paying attention 35 years ago!

Lynn Redgrave is the real star here. She's as good as the rest of her family.

I love leek and potato soup, but it's too hot here for soup right now.

When I was managing The Drama Book Shop I wanted the workers there with enough time before opening to stock shelves.  I thought of this because I am back from Staples, and the idiots do mot fill up the photocopiers in the morning.  As a result, the 11x17 paper ran out during my copying and there was only one clerk too busy taking care of others to bother with refilling the machine.  I left in disgust.

Ugg...some people's children! >:(

I have two blackberry tarts in the oven. One is for my dance instructor, Steve, who seems to have come down with covid-19.

Oh, no!

I prefer Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day!

The movie?  It was delightful.

I agree!

Laundry time and probably should order some food right about now.

That reminds me that I put a load of laundry in my washer about two hours ago, and I completely forgot about it! :o I need to put it in the dryer right now!

Laundry is all put away - bed is made with clean sheets, and some clean up has been done.  Now I'm listening to music.

My laundry is now in the dryer, my cat has been fed, I have been fed, and I've taken my evening meds.
