I just finished watching the K&E spectacular, and I really enjoyed it. Kerry O'Malley and Adrienne Stieffel can do no wrong. Ever. I had forgotten I had so many friends in it.

I wish Karen Mason had also sung "The Only Game In Town" because I love her recording of it. The selection of songs was quite good, but IU think I would have preferred "Class" to "The Grass Is Always Greener," because I think it's poorly constructed and half the punch lines are not given room to be heard; the song just keeps going.

Peyton grabbed me with "Wilkommen" and I enjoyed the ride.

On a parenthetical note to the song "Yes," my best college friend was costume assistant to Jane Greenwood who dressed 70 Girls 70, and Mildred Natwick and I were phone buddies at The Drama Book Shop. We never met although she told me I had to come and have tea with her. She was very warm and friendly. The first time I talked to her, I told her my favorite song of hers was "The Elephant Song," and she was surprised I knew it.

DR Elmore, I feel a certain amount of guilt for not adopting from a shelter. Our last three cats we got before they would have ended up at a shelter, though.

All of our current cats we got within the last 2 years: Leonard in October of 2018 and Asha and Magdalena in July and October of 2019.

While we have rescued many dogs & cats we have never gotten one from a shelter.

TOD - my favorites from last night were all the songs from Cabaret, because that was my first Broadway show (original cast, 1967). But my very, very, very fave was “A Quiet Thing,” which sums up my life philosophy. Adrienne brought me to tears - in a good way.
