A former waitress and now bar manager at Beaches walked over and said hello.  We had to ask her who she was.  It didn't help that she now has dark hair the was up in a ponytail.

I’m not a fan of the stolid, sanctimonious nature of many biblical epics. Too many don’t seem, well, all that biblical. Or lifelike. Pasolini’s Gospel According to St. Matthew and The Last Temptation of Christ are both intriguing. I also enjoyed Jeremy Sisto’s performance in the miniseries Jesus. Then there’s Monty Python’s Life of Brian, which is cheeky.

Oh John, I want to buy Jeremy Sisto’s JESUS for Jrand69, JUST because Mary Magdalene is played by Debra Messing!

The first film was called JOHN APPLE JACK.  Because of the title I wasn’t expecting much, but it was listed as a comedy so I gave it a try.  It was a really delightful film.  Nothing terribly original, but nicely done.

The second movie was called DADDY.  I watched it because I thought it was a comedy, but it really wasn’t.  Possibly could be called a dramedy, but there was some heavy parts.

They keep raising the forecasted temperature for Sunday.  It started out last weekend as 90 degrees.  Monday it was changed to 92 degrees.  Yesterday, it was up to 95 degrees, and tonight they are forecasting 98 degrees for Sunday.  That is for Seattle, proper; so the South Sound could go over 100.

In my dream last night, we were having an earthquake.  That is just about all I remember, except there was a chair involved.

Jeanne, if you need quarters, I have a Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man bank (the GHOSTBUSTERS version) full of quarters.  It is full!

I'm sure that it is...just make sure that they're not loose or in a delicate package that could break easily.
