I have only seen Peer Gynt once. It was staged in two parts in a visually abstract and fairly barren production in the round. Richard Thomas was our hero. I loved both parts.

TOD 1:

The short films of Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd and Charlie Chaplin
The Red Balloon
Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge

I’m sure more will come to mind.

Last night's dream started with one weird little vignette, the origin of which is a mystery to me, then it became one of my fairly common themes:  my house, which is never like my real house or any other place I've lived, even though sometimes in the dream it's supposed to be one of those. The main thing about this iteration was a secret passage that I hadn't used in years. I now thought it would be neat to use it, but I had trouble finding the place to enter it, and when I figured that out I couldn't remember how to get the entrance open. And then I woke up. The End.

I knew a dog named Jane but never a cat.

I must have missed a post somewhere

Or was that apropos of nothing?

From DR TCB last night:

There is a cat kitten at the Humane Society named Jane.

For the first time in week I woke up with a migraine.  Keith has a headache.  We are wondering if it is a coincidence or the fact our carbon monoxide/gas detector went off this morning.

Our first foster cat from the county pound was named Jane. She was the mother. The kittens were all named after people from this site.

Vixmom, I had two of those three tests since the pandemic started. Fun.

Until you jogged my memory I had forgotten about that Jane and her kittens.

Fortunately I had done two of those before the pandemic, one just before.  The easy DEXA I needed to switch doctors to get in someplace for the test.

I used to like to buy a box of JUBILEEs when I went to the movies.

JUBILEE is Cole Porter’s best score and sparkles even more brilliantly in Elmore’s orchestrations.

Short movies....HA!

Last night I watched a movie that I had never seen.....but I decided to stick with it and see what it was all about.

PEPE - it was pretty bad.....some people thought that Fernandel was funny, but I am not one of them...didn't really like ...80 DAYS, but then again I'm not a David Niven fan either.....

But now I can say that I saw IT!

I think Mom’s new TV package includes STARZ. They’re showing Little Women tonight. We may watch that.

It was thank you, and confusing.  At first we thought it was the building fire alarm which is why we got dressed before opening windows and doors.
