Well, the FB Live thing went well. Lots of Happy Birthday wishes for Mom, lots of great songs- I think the Neil Sedaka section was too long and maybe I picked the wrong songs, but towards the end I did the slow version of "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" and that is always a pleaser. Now it's back to the task at hand - getting OUT of this apartment!
I did this interview several months ago: https://shoutoutla.com/meet-bruce-kimmel-record-label-owner-director-writer-composer-lyricist/
Had a very long talk with Carol. Her infection doesn't seem to be going away, and the doctor has placed on a strict Keto diet to get her to lose weight, as if that is the only answer to her problems. She's ready to give it a try.
And now, I must be off. I want (but don't really need) to do a little shopping, but I kind of want to see what, if anything, places like Fred Meyer or Costco are doing to limit the number of customers (again).
I've also got a bit of The Girl with the Louding Voice read today. I'm finally getting into it. It's got a little Dickens influence in the storytelling, which is certainly effective.
I am curious about Fred Meyer as we are probably going there tomorrow.

I don't know what time you're planning on going. But, I didn't notice anyone without a mask. People pretty much stayed away from each other, and it wasn't crowded at all. Just like just about any other night.
A friend posted this on FB and I think it's too funny not to share...and it's also a really good idea!
