That's sort of the way I've been counting today.

Well, the FB Live thing went well.  Lots of Happy Birthday wishes for Mom, lots of great songs- I think the Neil Sedaka section was too long and maybe I picked the wrong songs, but towards the end I did the slow version of "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" and that is always a pleaser.

Now it's back to the task at hand - getting OUT of this apartment!

Very nice, Matthew!

One of the first times that I heard "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" was when Telma Hopkins (formerly of Dawn, as in Tony Orlando and...) sang it on Bosom Buddies.  She also sang the slow version and that's the interpretation that I like the best.

I did this interview several months ago: https://shoutoutla.com/meet-bruce-kimmel-record-label-owner-director-writer-composer-lyricist/

That's great, BK!  Except they don't have your correct Linkedin URL. :-\

Had a very long talk with Carol. Her infection doesn't seem to be going away, and the doctor has placed on a strict Keto diet to get her to lose weight, as if that is the only answer to her problems. She's ready to give it a try.

Get well vibes for Carol.  I hope the diet works.

And now, I must be off.  I want (but don't really need) to do a little shopping, but I kind of want to see what, if anything, places like Fred Meyer or Costco are doing to limit the number of customers (again). ::)

We don't plan to return to Costco until after the holidays.

I've also got a bit of The Girl with the Louding Voice read today. I'm finally getting into it. It's got a little Dickens influence in the storytelling, which is certainly effective.

It looks interesting.

It was fine.  Of course, I went in the evening.  I don't know what time you're planning on going.  But, I didn't notice anyone without a mask.  People pretty much stayed away from each other, and it wasn't crowded at all.  Just like just about any other night. :)

The night before a dead man with a head injury was found behind the empty  Ruby Tuesday’s building (it closed down about a year ago , not a covid casualty), its the same parking lot as my grocery store

Last week there was a shooting 4 blocks from here, a man killed his wife and critically injured himself in a failed suicide attempt.

Their two little girls were locked in the car in the driveway
