Finished with my viewing - the other Street Scene DVD that's available - much better production, but the idiot who directed the video itself did everything he could to kill it so it could look like he made a "film." It's the Houston Grand Opera production by Francesca Zembello - the ideas are fine but clearly has no clew how to actually direct the people. But it's much better, with a good set and decent singing. More in the notes.

I've also eaten anything that's not nailed down. Obviously, I didn't eat all of the tuna pasta salad - less than half of that - but the chicken pot pie, the cherry loaf and my eye has been focused on the Bundt cake in the refrigerator.

You all know I'm a Chicago hot dog fanatic. When I'm making those, I only buy them with a natural casing because that's one of the hallmarks of the Chicago dog. Again, many brands available, but this household's favorite is Sabrett which have wonderful flavor.

I usually buy the Nathan’s Beef hot dogs. I used to buy Hebrew National, but they always cut off the end.
