I believe Danbury drew the short straw this time. Or is it the long one? It's looking like we got the most snow in Connecticut, at 19 inches.

I'm getting my snow work clothes on now, and I think it's going to be a hellish cleanup. See y'all later.

DR Elmore, hugs and condolences to you and all who love John.

Thank you.  I'm assuming that Randy may drive down to Kentucky for the funeral.  In the 1970s, John worked for Dad's construction company.

Well - I am also to blame for the delay in getting my vaccine.  The closest place is quite a drive away.  So when it first started, I asked my brother if we could go get ours together.

He said yes.....he would drive....  A bit later he told me we were going to wait until his wife was eligible.  I kind of felt obligated by then since it was a plan already....and I didn't want to make the drive by myself.

So I could go by myself - but there you are.

I am concerned about you driving in a car with four other people, especially if the windows are not down.  I recently read the air should NOT be turned on, and the windows needs to be cracked at least some.

Thanks, JRand, for the birthday greetings.
Glad you’re set up for your appointment.
It’s been impossible to get one here in Maryland.
We’re ranked an abysmal #41 out of 50 of states that have administered the vaccine.

So the town averaged 19 inches and it looked like we have 12-14 on this property.

It's a heavy snow, and it took the plow guy about three times as long as it normally does to move the snow off of this driveway. (Which by the way, I paced out the other day, and the distance from street to house is some 650-700 feet. And we have a large turnaround area at the garage. But I digress!) So even where it was downhill, he had to plow, say, ten feet at a time, push that much off to the side, back up for another start, do another ten feet, etc.

Did a little shoveling, a lot of snowblowing, and I look forward to sitting on my ASS the rest of the day.

I know you were all waiting anxiously to hear all of that, and I am happy to oblige.

Aww, I am glad you enjoyed it and thank you for your good wishes.  We still expect it won't be, at least, until April before we see her.
