Is he in Montgomery County?
Teachers are very high priority.
My daughter is a teacher in New York, and is scheduled for her second dose in 2 weeks.

He lives in Montgomery County but teaches in Prince George's. He should get his vaccination at a designated school in PG county.

Yes, he is teaching remotely and desperately wants back in the classroom. I think it is wonderful your daughter is almost ready for her second dose. I was disappointed Washington dropped teachers down a phase, especially as schools open back up.

He is in Silver Spring. When this pandemic is over he will likely move from his apartment & out of the area. We like visiting there. I did a four year study at the NIH. While I didn't see much of Bethesda I liked what I saw.

I have been looking into personal air purifiers, specifically the ones you wear like a necklace. For certain medical appointments I need to use public transportation and I am simply not comfortable with that. They can also be used to clean the air in your car. The ones on Amazon range in price from $39 to $200, but I'm thinking one of the lower-cost models will be sufficient.

Jeanne the article I read suggested sitting in the back right passenger seat with the window down, or partially down. The driver's window should be the same. This should give you the best ventilation. Oh, and you are better off in the back than in the front as the germs move forward.

DO NOT let the driver turn the AC on.

I stopped at the little mom&pop pharmacy today. I was pleased to see the door open. They've been keeping it closed and locked since Covid. I understand their need to stay safe, but shopping is ever so much easier when you can go into the store! You used to have to knock, then an employee would come to the door and you'd tell them what you need and hand them your credit card.

I wonder if this change has to do with revised LA County guidelines or just greater confidence.

I also stopped at the Italian restaurant with the great bargain lunches. Their outdoor tables were back and they had a number of customers for sit-down dining (vs take-out). Personally, I am not quite ready to do so, but I'm really pleased to see outdoor dining reopen. I will celebrate eating in a restaurant again.

Was this the article in the NYTimes a few weeks ago? If I recall correctly, it said that the window near the passenger seat in front should be at least partially down as well as the window on the left in the back.

My gripe is with the drivers who don't wear masks or who wear them around their neck.

I suspect that even after Covid many of us will think twice about doing a lot of things. I plan to always have masks on hand, as well as disposable gloves. I will continue to disinfect my phone and computer daily. I hope to always have help available with groceries. I'm sure many other things will be added to the list.

Hmm, possibly. I don't remember. Oh my, I seem to have reversed the window order.
