My question for ASK BK DAY - were you a fan of Miss Annette Funicello's music - did you buy any of her singles or albums?

Do you have a favorite Annette recording?

Yes DR singdaw now I can wet my plants.

Of course rain is predicted for the next couple of days so it will be done for me.

Where did you find the watering can?

That is interesting about the Olympic, DR TCB.  I had never even heard of it!   Thanks for the photo link, DR George.

My pleasure, Singdaw.

I just ordered a baby gift.  I was about to search for a baby registry when a card arrived in the mail saying there wouldn't be a shower and offered links to the registries.  I found it very funny, such are the times.  I would have liked to have gone to LA for a baby shower.

Besides DR George, today is also the birthday of Ann B. Davis.

She replaced Carol Burnett in Once Upon a Mattress on Broadway.

And a Happy Birthday to Ann B. Davis!

It’s Cinco de Mayo. I’m expecting Singdaw to bless us with all kinds of ghastly “just add mayo” treats.

I am exercising restraint and being otherwise reticent.

Umm...why?? ???

Jrand, always liked Annette. Am partial to her first, Tall Paul but my fave is her duet on The Parent Trap.

And I always love when we see interviews with the Sherman Brothers that they talk about working with her.

And on her CD retrospective there is a nice outtake of her when she is singing The Strumming Song.....and of course we begin with "Take 6" of "Tall Paul".  How hard could it be?
