Last night around 8:30 I was afflicterd with a new torturous round of neuropathy: shooting, burning pains of 10-30 seconds duration in the base of my left heel and achilles tendon. They were frequent, sometimes running up the back of my leg to mid-calf. Usually, I just get short jabs in my toes or the bottoms of my feet, but this new one was persistent and lasted all night. I got very little sleep.

I tried several stretches, and nothing helped. I took every painkiller I had, and nothing helped. I plan to spend most of the day in bed.
