Well, you've read the notes, the notes noted that memory is a funny thing, and now it is time for you to post until the memory-challenged cows come home.

Memory is a funny thing.

Memories, like the corners of my mind.

Annabelle's allergies are keeping her from eating, and it worries me to death. I think I need some Benadryl.

Yesterday I binge watched the last three episodes of Belgravia, which I liked very much. What I do not like very much is the plethora of scenes so dark you can barely tell what the hell is going on, especially when things rev up in the final episode. In many ways the plot - and I assume it's the same in Fellowes' novel on which the miniseries is based - reminds me of Dickens, or maybe Trollope (since Fellowes earlier adapted Trollope's Doctor Thorne for televison) without all the odd characters and subplots.

Kitty cleanup is over, and I wait for Amazon Fresh to show up. Since they are generally earlier than 9:00, I am loathe to begin anything because I worry I will have to  stop to accept the delivery.

Fellowes has adapted both, so it’s probably an amalgamation with a little George Eliot thrown in for good measure.

I’ll have to watch it soon.

I only watched a few episodes of BELGRAVIA but I think a gay character had shown up - but everything was kind of murky so I'm not sure ...

No gay characters, but I'm guessing there are a few gay actors among the excellent cast.

Amazon Fresh arrived at 9:20 in five cartons, and it was all put away by 10:00. Annabelle has appropriated one carton for her, Thatch, and Stella to play in, and I've broken down the other four. I've accomplished most of what I wanted to this morning, and after I return from taking everytrhing to the basement and picking up the mail, I will tackle the bathroom with the Dustbuster.

How could I forget George Eliot or Elizabeth Gaskell? I want to watch Doctor Thorne but it isn't yet on Netflix.

Sunday morning greetings!  Fr. Richard is conducting services at the church Rob and Mary Linda attended before they moved to Chicago.  I was all ready to watch online, but found out I need a Zoom link that I don't have.

While I was getting the mail, Fed Ex arrived with one of the replacement orders from Chewy.com, and he kindly carried the carton up to my apartment. After I emptied the carton and put the empty carton in the hall for me to take down tomorrow, Stella escaped. Now I need to track her down. Damn!

I just took my bath, which was quite fatiguing. I'd like to bap but the cats have to be fed in 15 minutes or so. Stella kept me company. Earlier, Thatch helped me pay bills. It was hell.

While I was paying bills, I had four phone calls in a row, literally back to back, two on my land line. I ignored them because it was too painful to get my cane, and hobble to the phone for something that might be a phishing call. When I finished the bills, I checked them out. All four were from my neighbor. She's a good lady, but I think she might be a few sandwiches short a picnic.
