A Cherpumple, once assembled, cannot be moved.

So it is written, so it shall be done.

Or, NOT done, in this case.

Robert Yacko's version is pretty special, too.   :D

I just finished reading my 130th book for the year.  I prefer to compare how many pages I read a year to the number of books since book sizes vary.  I have read 46715 pages.

Congrats, Jane!  I'm nowhere near that.

I don't recall ever having a weird New Year's Eve.

I don't either.

I have had a few spectacular evenings.

The one time I went to NYC we saw Stomp on New Year's Eve and the performance ended at midnight.  That was fun!

You have far more activities to do.  I basically go to the gym and/or go for walks ;)

Just found out when I called to place a takeout order at our favorite local jernt that they are closed due to a pipe exploding.

Just got lost in the YouTube land of that song. Saw three new-to-me versions, including one on HainesHisWay's YouTube Channel from the Burt Bacharach concert.

Watching a movie called A Life at Stake with Angela Lansbury as a very naughty woman. Keith Andes, who starred opposite Lucy in Wildcat, is the guy who gets sucked in by her charms. Can murder be far behind?

Very nice picture, John!

It is.  Knowing how the camera doesn't always stay true to the colors, I can imagine how it looked in person.

George, how far is Fort Lewis from you?

Are you planning to visit?  If you do come back to the PNW please remember we also live here.  Had we know you were going to Seattle we would have made plans to see you.  Granted, the weather likely would have changed our plans.  It was raining super hard.
