DR Ginny the descriptions for the two are a bit different (see below).  I think an apple filling on the Dutch Baby would be good.

"The Dutch Baby, an air filled delight oven baked to golden perfection and served with lemon, whipped butter and powdered sugar to create a mouthwatering blend.

the Apple Pancake, a single large pancake smothered with sautéed apples and cinnamon sugar baked to perfection, to create a deliciously rich cinnamon sugar glaze."

Either sounds great!

I would prefer the second one without the sautéed apples, or the pancake.

Just the cinnamon sugar? ;D

Not feeling very good today.

I am sorry.  I expect the stress of being there isn't helping.

No, it isn’t.

I am supposed to have a medical appointment very early tomorrow morning, but we're also supposed to have a winter storm.     :P

I just read that pannettone in Italy is considered, by some, the equivalent of fruit cake in America. The one time I tried pannettone, I kinda liked it.

And you're not a fan of fruit cake?

Listening to Donald's show. I realize I only have one CD in his top 15. Odd year of recordings to match an odd year.

You have me beat...I don't have any of them. :-\

I thought you had Cinderella.

I do have Cinderella, but I haven't listened to Donald's episode yet, so I didn't know that he talked about more than 10.  And I don't have any of the recordings that are shown on the page with the episode. :-\

Picked up the second important envelope and no packages, got a chicken Caesar salad to go from Stanley's, picked it up, came home and ate it, and now it's back to writing for the next couple of hours.

It was one of his honorable mentions.

I am really enjoying Heat and Dust this time. Greta Scacchi and Julie Christie are both wonderful.

I Googled Julie Christie earlier. Was surprised to read that she's basically given up acting and is doing charity work. Then I read she's almost 80 and I find that hard to believe.

I love fruitcake, especially dark English fruitcake with a marzipan topping.

I should not have done it. But after a conversation with a friend earlier, I decided to put on Blue, the first of the Tricoleur trilogy. I haven't watched these movies in ages and can remember nothing of them, except I loved them.

Now I can't stop watching it.

Eight pages so far and time for a little break, after which I'll try to do another eight - that would be a good day's writing, for sure.

One of the gifts I got for Christmas was the original London cast of Cabaret with Judi Dench. The notes are a reprint from the original album. In it, it says that Joe Masteroff had written a musical called The Warm Peninsula. Is that a mistake? I know he wrote a play called that, but I've never heard of it as a musical. Not that it matter much ...
