Access-a-Ride was about 15 minutes late to pick me up, and traffic down to 14th Street wasreally heavy. The driver was one of my favoreites and heremembered me, so we had a nice chat to the NYC Human Rights Administration.

Since I had no idea how long it would take me at the HRA, I asked for a return trip at 10:30, but because of traffic, I didn't get to 14th Street until 10:00. While I was waiting to be seen. I got a call that my return trip would arrive in 15 minutes/ I told the caller that I was still waiting rto be seen, and that I might be still in the meetign when the driver arrived. The caller advised me to call Access-a-Ride when my appointmewnt was over.

I saw a nice lady who scanned my documents and thanked me for coming in. She was really wonderful. I went back to hte first floor and called Access-a-Ride. It was exactly 10:30. The Access-a-Ride ladt told me she would check on my trip. After a long wait, she told me the driver was a block away and should arrive in about a minute, So, I went outsidse to wait. It was chilly and the rain had finally stopped. After waiting around 15 minutes, I called Access-a-Ride. This began a serieas of inquiries that continued until 11:20 or so. Around 11:00 the deriver called. He had a Spanish accent so heavy I could barely understand, but Ig gather he was parked somewhere around the corner of Fifth Aveniue and 14th Street. I called AAR back ad asked why the driver wasn't at my location. At 11:33, I got a text from the MTA, who sponsors AAR, telling me my ride was canceled. I walked to Fifth Acvenue, waitind agews for a taxi. I got home at 12:30, and the ride cost me $35.00.

Color me really pissed off.

Back from physical therapy.

Did exercises and have exercises to do daily the next two weeks before re-evaluation.

I also had X-rays done.  THE MOST PAINFUL part of my day, thus far.  Cold metal table, no back support and various positions that hurt more than anything I could have anticipated.  Still, they got a vast array of shots/positions, so whenever the X-rays are reviewed, they will undoubtedly show something that may help my recovery.

X-rays can be very painful.  Vibes the news is good.

PT can also be very painful.  Vibes it works!

Too much to eat at one sitting......I will let HHW know if it ever happens to me.

It hasn't happened in over 71 years - but there is a first time for everything.

Modern technology can be very nice.  I completed my test at 10:30 and received my results online at 1:00.

It’s exceptionally hot today. But it’s not above 100. Yesterday was technically hotter, but today is more humid.

I think more than a few Hainsies and Kimlets will appreciate this article:

For some of Australia’s most hardcore film buffs, streaming will never match the tactile, finite and nostalgic lure of the hard copy.

Not that I actually care.  Streaming is fine with me.  I think we own two or three DVD's.
