I saw a nice lady who scanned my documents and thanked me for coming in. She was really wonderful. I went back to hte first floor and called Access-a-Ride. It was exactly 10:30. The Access-a-Ride ladt told me she would check on my trip. After a long wait, she told me the driver was a block away and should arrive in about a minute, So, I went outsidse to wait. It was chilly and the rain had finally stopped. After waiting around 15 minutes, I called Access-a-Ride. This began a serieas of inquiries that continued until 11:20 or so. Around 11:00 the deriver called. He had a Spanish accent so heavy I could barely understand, but Ig gather he was parked somewhere around the corner of Fifth Aveniue and 14th Street. I called AAR back ad asked why the driver wasn't at my location. At 11:33, I got a text from the MTA, who sponsors AAR, telling me my ride was canceled. I walked to Fifth Acvenue, waitind agews for a taxi. I got home at 12:30, and the ride cost me $35.00.
Color me really pissed off.
