Remember Val, our wonderful super who left us in 2018 because the landlord wouldn't pay for a 2-week vacation? I had a nice phone call wityh him this morning. He and his qwife have adopted a pup named Sparky.

He's much happier with the job he left us for, and I'm very happy for him.

Yikes!  I have the opposite problem.  I bought a refurbished Kindle Oasis and EVERY book I ever checked out from OverDrive shows up on it.

   My brother doesn't use Overdrive.  Maybe that is a good thing-lol

Fortunately, they're not downloaded, but they all show up in my list of titles, even though I can't download any of them because they would need to be checked out through OverDrive again.

This is kind of interesting since I don't believe Overdrive offers a list of past books checked out.

As far as I know the first time I went to one was with Keith.  He stopped so we could have their ice cream.  I was thrilled to see Peppermint Stick, and as Keith promised, the ice cream was good.

A new type of Taco Bell restaurant - the first of its kind - has just opened, a stone's throw from my door.

It is strictly drive-through. 4 lanes. The kitchen is on the 2nd floor. Orders are sent down to the cars on a special elevator. They guarantee a 2 minute delivery from the time the order is placed.
