The Frances play has just been fired off to the Theatre Dept. at dear old DePauw University to see if it's something they would be interested in.

It was also sent to the Producing Director of the American Lives Theatre - one of the groups that perform at the Phoenix Theatre Cultural Center.

Between my reading and former DR JMK's musical and the article that DR RODZINSKI published, Frances has seen more action in the last 8 months than she has since 1983.

That's fantastic, Jrand!

DR JANE I am glad your hearing aids work so well with your new TV machine.

Thank you.  It could still be better.  When we move back into our bedroom we will replace the old tv (one of the woman took it away) and get one with a better sound system.

I missed something. Who is the woman who took away your old TV?

I typed workman, not sure how I ended up with woman :))

The Horrors of autocorrect. ::)

I watched Mayday. What an utterly unmitigated piece of dreck.

You know it's going to be scary from the opening moments with ominous music and jump cuts.

Why is the stewardess standing right in the way of all the boarding passengers?

The ICK factor from the opening lines and the actors is off the scale.

I haven't really said much about it, but I've been trying to figure out a company who might be interested in releasing a 50th anniversary edition of Nudie Musical next year. I don't want to do it myself - I want to license it to someone reasonably, and have then do a new 4K transfer to protect the CRI internegative that is all we have.

Cool!

The dialogue is horrible, but somehow the "acting" makes it even worse.

There is a four-minute sequence of passengers just buckling their seatbelts.

He then asked me about the original camera negative. When Paramount gave us back the movie, all the elements with to MGM for storage. We have tried many times over the years to find what MGM labs said they couldn't and just had no luck. Well, Harris picked up the phone and called Paramount. And guess what? They never sent it to MGM, only the CRI and prints went there. So, all this time Paramount has had it in their vault and they told Robert they will happily give it back to me, so I'll be e-mailing them as soon as he sends me that information. This is amazing news and we'll really be able to do a proper 4K now and I have our Blu-ray as reference for the color timing and reframing of certain scenes. I can't pay for the transfer, of course, but that's why I'm hoping to license it to someone - they can do all the work and then all I'll need to do is approve it. And when we have the 4K we can really do a proper screening from that.

Very cool!! :D

If they cut all the moments of people opening and shutting the curtains between the cabin areas, the film would lose about 20 minutes.

Good news. The local fellow who answers to the name Stumpy, pumped our septic tank at last and saw no problems. What a relief. I was stressed about this.

Whew!!  Very good news, Rodzinski!

Fantastic news about Nudie, BK. Kind of counter-balances the stink from the Levin estate.

Kind of... ::)

Last Costco visit I was attracted to a giant jar of organic peach spread. I don’t know what I was thinking. It will take me two years to finish.

And your point is...??
