I've posted these links here, but with over 500 guests here, maybe some of them will click on some of these.  (And as they used to say about reruns, if you haven't seen them, they're new to you. :) )

With the Tonys coming up, offering our annual parody video rundown salute to the 2024-25 season's Tony nominations - some things we didn't dare kid, but thought deserved musical comment anyway, other things it felt safe to kid.

Very rich theatergoers were a story of the year:  SALUTE TO THE INSANE OUT-OF-CONTROL GROSSES FOR nominees GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK and GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS and also non-nominee OTHELLO - feat. David Mamet SRO at the Palace!

"We Coughed Up for Shakespeare"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOdZhff2jHs

GYPSY - The Colbert show performance, where to online chatters it seemed they'd deliberately chosen to play the emotions of "Rose's Turn" for then performance of "Some People"-
We didn't dare do a spoof  - so to be totally safe, a revival of our spoof of the psychotic Madame Rose that Imelda Staunton had done in London,

"Some Roses"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3YPpAOMV_w

JUST IN TIME - This one we DID dare spoof:  Since Best Actor nominee Jonathan Groff himself has such open fun making fun of his own sweating and spitting, our parody-tribute to his Bobby Darin.

"Mack the Knife Parody"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3eaFLReem8

A WONDERFUL WORLD: THE LOUIS ARMSTRONG MUSICAL -  nominated for Best Actor, James Monroe Iglehart.
We offered a parody of the feel-good "What a Wonderful World" - a more realistic feel-less-good "2025 update"

"What a One-Percent World!"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kjivj2eNMY

Regarding the Anything Goes clip (that’s what turned up when I clicked), why is Jon Groff wearing a sweater while tapping? Tapping is as aerobic as you can get. Of course you’ll sweat!

Bruce, if you start tapping you won’t need Ozempic.

I am almost disoriented, with no morning or even afternoon obligations. :)

Not only today, but for the next few weeks! Xfinity/Comcast is coming out Monday instead of today (I moved it) to check things over, and I have my teeth cleaning and checkup on Tuesday. After that, we'll see...

What a coinkydink...I get my teeth cleaned next week, too.  But my cleaning is on Thursday, not Tuesday.

Me, too! On Tuesday, like Chas.

Hi Jeanne.  I need to tell you about my discussion with the eye doctor and that gel stuff.

The gel based stuff is injected into the tear ducts.  While it supposedly is more comfortable than plugs he has an issue with it.  His only experience with them is when is needs to do the surgery required to remove them.  He said it is not a pleasant surgery.  I will pass and try the plugs.

My acupuncturist talked me into watching Younger. Sutton Foster plays a 40-something mother who can’t get a job in publishing because she’s too old. She pretends she’s a 20-something. I’m told it gets better. We shall see.

Jane, glad your eye is OK. I have trouble with my right eye, too. You might want to try black currant seed oil. My eyes weren’t as dry after I started taking it.

Which brand?

Freddie, What a One Percent World is one of my favorite parodies. Quite appropriate!

Thank you, Jeanne!

My doctor mentioned the gel eye drops. They do last longer. He has dry eyes himself.

NOW Black Currant Seed oil 1000 mg. I use the caps, but I think you can buy the oil, too.

I thought it was gel drops that went in the tear ducts, something I am definately not doing now.  The plus are easily removed if I don't like them.

Thanks regarding the black current.  I read that it can lower your blood pressure, not something I want at all.  I would have to watch that carefully.

Hmmm... Was there a commercial for Jonathan Groff in "Anything Goes" before my video?  Yikes!

Thanks for telling me about that, Jeanne.

Here's the link for what should be coming up for the "Mack the Knife parody."

I am very relieved that my eye is ok, plus I had about an hour of pain relief for both eyes thanks to numbing drops.  I love numbing drops.

That's great, Jane!
