Yesterday, I had a quiet but busy morning followed by a nice bath, and then, just after dinner, another round of nausea that sent me to the bathroom for an hour, followed by an unsettling evening as I apprehensively waited for another attack that did not come.

Hope you're feeling better, Larry!!

I've only listened to it a couple of times.  I remember that I liked it, but not much else. ::)

I hardly ever have mac & cheese. But if I did have it, I think I would like a chili mac.

Chili Mac can be good.

Once, I got a frozen mac-and-cheese dinner that had pepperoni and pizza sauce in it...the concept was sound, but the execution wasn't.

It tasted good (not great) but it was just too salty. :P

Otherwise, I usually just like plain macaroni and cheese...it can be very cheesy, but I usually just add some pepper. :)

Last night, I went down the Facebook rabbit hole, watched a lot of videos, and basically lost track of time. ::)

Facebook rabbit holes seem hit or miss for me.  I keep finding, though, that YouTube rabbit holes keep giving me pretty much exactly the kind of videos and shorts that I want to see. I'm guessing the YouTube algorithm is aware of which videos you watch all the way through (vs. switching them off early) and is well set up to give you more of the same.

I agree...YouTube vids have more relevant and interesting content, but I just enjoyed the vids that came up on FB.

The other night on Amazon Prime I watched the 2006 movie version of The History Boys, whch I wish I'd seen on Broadway. It's quite wonderful and disquieting at the same time, dealing with relationships both educational and sexual between faculty and students, in particular a most amazing general studies instructor who pushes his students to look beyond historical facts and icons to pop culture and celebrities like Noël Coward and Rodgers & Hart. The cast, particularly Richard Griffithsm is quite wonderful.

I have that DVD...but I don't think I've actually watched it. ::)

Being calorically-challenged myself, I assume it's OK to tell this -

On Broadway, "The History Boys" had a beautifully detailed set where, from the house seats and presumably the Tony voters seats, the view was great enough to win Best Scenic design Tony. But from pretty much everywhere else, something was always in the way - something was blocked and you could hardly see anything except from the best seats!

There was a "spoof announcement" going around back then as if from the producers of "History Boys" dealing with this very strange reality -

The non-PC spoof press release went: "The producers have been asked to address concerns that 90% of the house is partial view. Please be assured that Mr. Richard Griffiths can be seen from every seat in the house."

Today, I hung my signed Into the Woods poster in my office. Signed by all of the original cast. But not SJS himself, alas.

That is so cool, Singdaw!  I'm jealous, and still would be even if I hadn't just been involved in the show!
