I found an outstanding show on Netflix. Benedict Cumberpatch in Eric. Cumberpatch is wonderful in it and the show has more depth than most shows of this sort (missing child).
Definitely recommended.

I am back on my feet, but not 100%, after my recent surgery. Recovery always seems to take longer than you expect — frustratingly so. All seems to be on track, though.

Thank you for all the vibes. I’m sure they helped.

Very good news.  Vibes you are soon back to 100%.

I was so annoyed with PBS yesterday. I wanted to stream Call The Midwife, but couldn’t find it on the PBS site. They had a link to the show’s page, even a Where to Watch section, but no information on where to stream. It’s available on Amazon Prime, but for a fee. Given how long I’ve been supporting PBS I don’t feel I should have to pay a fee for a PBS show. Grrrr. I think very highly of PBS programming, but their viewer relations often suck. They won’t answer questions, either — they just refer you to the FAQs. Double grrr.

Darn.  I hope you can find it.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm going to ask my brother if he knows about it.

Recovery seems to take longer all the time.  I still haven't completely recovered from the darn colonoscopy prep.

A hit for Perry Como.

And then of course there was also the soothing sound of Perry Como singing the opening credits song for THE ODESSA FILE

I like that song.

The Odessa File had music by Andrew Lloyd Webber - one of his earlier credits

I also have the soundtrack on vinyl, but I don't remember if I actually listened to the whole thing. ::)

Tonight my sister Paula and I are going to see THE CEMETERY CLUB.

Two performances - two standing ovations.....so I hope tonight continues the trend.

This weekend my friend Vickie who directed Act Two is doing the green room circle and curtain speech.  Next week I will be doing it - and then drive home I will be done by 8:05 or so - plenty of time to drive home while it is still light.

Vibes tonight goes great!

Grandson and I made a pizza while they were gone. It was only so-so. But he had a good time making it. Especially punching the dough.

This ad from the latest edition of the AARP magazine advises me that I should not attempt to lift my wheelchair over my head.

In related matters: AARP is also offering free streaming of the musical BONNIE AND CLYDE.

I wonder if I'm old enough to join. ;)

The AI overview info (through google) says:

"You can join AARP at any age, but membership benefits are geared towards those 50 and older, though some benefits are available to younger members. While AARP focuses on issues affecting those 50+, anyone 18 or older can become a member."

I started getting mailers from them when I was 35.  I'm 59 now, so maybe I should think about joining.

I put that Sondheim duet album into my iTunes list some time back but haven't really taken the time to listen to it.
