When my dad was in the army, he was transferred from Germany to Fort Carson, Colorado. We landed in New Jersey and had to stay there for a few days, so my parents bought a new 1973 Chevy Malibu station wagon, and we drove that from NJ to CO. I couldn't tell you what states we drove through, though.

We are heading to a major collision. Stella has been snooping about, and she has discovered Annabelle's mountain aerie in the bookcases. In the past week, Stella has been leaping up into the Alps (the bookcase behind my bed) around 3:00 and sleeping like Goldilocks in Annabelle's private domain. She then returns to us around 5:30-6:00, and Annabelle heads there between 9:00-10:00 and sleeps there until 5:30 in the morning. Last night, on three occasions, I was alerted to the sounds of falling books, and I expect a major cat fight over the mountain retreat at any moment.

Last night I finished the final season (Season 6) of The Nanny. So much of it remains hilarious, but the first half of Season 6 was dreadful before the second half rallied to a nice conclusion. I'm thinking I might want to do the same run through all the seasons of Seinfeld now.
