Cary Ginell is a local guy out in Calabasas, I think. He's reviewed several of my shows - Li'l Abner, Levi!, Welcome to My World, maybe The Brain.

I don't understand all this Republican Epstein angst. You know they'll all forget about it next week.

Jrand, I've had Screenpix for at least two years now, maybe longer. I, too, watched The Explosive Generation - can't remember if I wrote about it.

It's really nice out today. Cloudy, which makes it much cooler. I'm still hoping for rain, but I really doubt it.

Ordered this today. Will report back after it arrives.

I'll have to read the book to see if the author explains why they chose "frazolagy" instead of "phraseology," which I prefer.

Lots of good movies on there, but frequently not in the right ratio. Still, some wonderful rarities.

The morning at work was nerve-wracking. There were definitely some bobbles, but overall it is going fairly well. There are a lot of manager report issues that I'll need to try to figure out. Lots of big changes!

I did mention watching The Explosive Generation and Diary of a Teenage Wife but it was the day I announced what the new book was - Directed by - back in February 2024. I really announced that one early, when we were still entering the first set of fixes.

Yes I sort of remember you writing about it.

Indeed -  for the first three or four shots in the classroom the boom mike was dangling into the slot....my guess is as your say a ratio probably.

I remember  Len Kinsolving from The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs and a Twilight Zone called Leather Jackets - he was an teen alien from space on a mission who fell in love with earth girl Shelley Fabares.

TOD:

Dear BK,

Do you remember a tv movie called "Daughter of the Mind?" I don't know why I've been thinking about it this week. I was a kid when it was on. It spooked me.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I’ve been on a bit of a healthcare wild goose chase, but finally got a diagnosis yesterday from my cardiologist.  He said “We’ll fix it” and told me not to worry.  Easy for him to say…

From last night:

My mother and grandmother, my four sisters, and I rode to Wyoming from Indiana by station wagon for a vacation one summer.

When my dad was in the army, he was transferred from Germany to Fort Carson, Colorado.  We landed in New Jersey and had to stay there for a few days, so my parents bought a new 1973 Chevy Malibu station wagon, and we drove that from NJ to CO.  I couldn't tell you what states we drove through, though.

That also sounds like a good trip.

Both parents smoking in the car...no seat belts...good times! ;)

Then in 1976, the year before my dad retired, we drove that Chevy Malibu station wagon from Colorado to Washington where it eventually died.

Another great trip.

This time, we had Spot, the stray cat that we adopted, along for the ride.

I am dragging my ASS this morning and have just canceled my monthly-or-so dinner meeting with my director (of various other things, not the current show) which was to have been tonight. We both really enjoy those, but he was dragging, too, as it turns out, and next week is clear for both of us.

At least you don't need to feel bad about cancelling since he was also dragging  :)

Yesterday I watched The Explosive Generation starring William Shatner, Patty McCormack, Billy Gray, and Len Kinsolving.

I just watched a clip on IMDB.  I don't believe I have ever seen this.
