HIGHLIGHTS AND LOWLIGHTS
« on: Today at 12:37:35 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both highlights and lowlights and perhaps even one medium light, and now it is time for you to post until the high, low, and medium cows come home.

I had a so-so night of sleep with too many bathroom breaks. The cats behaved, which is good, but between the aches n the knee and hip joints and the neuropathy in my feet, I was awake too much of the night.

Today, I will continue with my current job, which is to orchestrate three cues from the 1925 piano score for The Phantom of the Opera, for a centennial showing. I've got around 60 bars to score of the piece I'm currently scoring.

My only other news is that the kindle, audio book, and paper edition of Annabelle & Thatch are in their final prep stage. I'm so proud of Jeremy Clayton's work on the book. Here are three of his illustrations.

Last night I finished watching Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich. There was much I did not know, the documentary is disturbing, and the man was truly a monster.

Mimosa was her shelter name. Her permanent name is Snowdrop.

I think the family is coming over today. Snowdrop may come, too. Grandson will like that. I'll see if I can get a picture.

Did your kitties have shelter names that you changed, Elmore? I seem to remember that Annabelle and Thatch were their shelter names, but Stella wasn't.

DR elmore3003, is the plan to have a live orchestra play the score for a screening?

I saw the pre-Broadway tour of Ballroom at the Stratford Shakespeare Theater in Connecticut. Thoroughly enjoyed it. "The Job Interview" was still in the score at that time.

Yes, I kept their shelter names. I did change Stella's name; it was Pinot Noir. Oy!

TOD (a partial list)

Gidget Grows Up (the United Nations one with Karen Valentine)
Crowhaven Farm
The Last Child
Brian's Song
The Longest Night (this was somewhat grisly based in a true life crime, but I recall it was really well done)
The Immortal

Yes. The screening is in Akron, Ohio, I think, and the orchestra will be the same as it was for that theatre in 1925, sixteen players.

We always gave our fosters names, just to keep track of them. But they never went back to the shelter with them. They just had numbers.

I've been thinking of contacting the Humane Society about fostering -- like kitties that are sick and need meds. That would be short-term.

Well, I think I've slept for thirty minutes - don't know what's going on with me, but this cannot continue. I thought I was done with the gunk, but not tonight, Josephine. I also think the crab cakes were tainted, which is also part of the problem - very nauseous.
