Skip just got back - his setting of the Lord's Prayer was the musical selection for the Offertory at Rutgers Church on the Upper West Side this morning. It was sung by a college schoolmate of his, Jane Thorngren, who is a NYC Opera leading lady. Skip composed it especially for her.

Earlier I started running at the nose and sneezing (allergies) like crazy, and it wasn't slowing down on its own so I popped my poison of choice (Benadryl) and am just now starting to feel relief. I'm putting off unloading the car till tomorrow. Hell with it. I'll run out and do my little bit of shopping, then I'm settling in for some comfortable eating and drinking and watching and general merriment.
