THE TAKING OF THE DOLLS IN THE VALLEY

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had dolls and shouted, "Sparkle, Neely, sparkle," and now it is time for you to post until the doll-popping cows come home.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Last night, I ushered for a local production of Rent for the second time.  I volunteered in concessions a couple of other times also, but I only watched the first act for one of those two shows.  It was a very good production and the almost full audience loved it.  Tomorrow is their final performance.  Definitely well done.

Yesterday we saw the tour of Moulin Rouge. It was ... interesting.

I slept well last night.  I am completely surprised by that since the past two nights were dreadful.

DR Laura, I detested Moulin Rouge; it remains one of the worst things I have ever had to sit through, also one of the loudest.

It was beautiful, but it's one I don't need to see again.

DR GEORGE I didn't know you could pay $30 for another year of Windows 10.

Where can I read about that?

Since Moulin Rouge was mentioned so glowingly :) this was my parody of the eleven o'clock number from Moulin Rouge -

"Rolling in the Deep" parody - my attempt at singing it in the style of Adele's ex Slinky Sunbeam, who supposedly caused all the overwrought angst the song was about

P.S.  I wonder, though - if you date someone whose parents named him Slinky Sunbeam, I'm not sure what kind of reliability and steadiness you're expecting.

Yes, sir, and I thank you very much, even before being on the right device to download it! (I've had things set up differently than usual, yesterday and today, long story...)

Just watching the original movie made me never want to bother with the musical.  :)

Elmore, you must not have seen the new version of Oklahoma!

You mean the dreadful country western where Curly shoots Jed in cold blood?

If so, I was smart enough to avoid it.

Want to hear something funny?

You people talk about paying for another year of Windows 10, while my old HP laptop is still running Windows 7.

It's never online or at risk except for a quick moment when I'm transferring something, and I keep Malwarebytes running on it. But it, and the older software, are alive and well and doing fine. Till I eventually have to replace it, of course. My online life is on the Apple machines.
