I am quite sleepy this morning. I slept well until around 3:00 when I had the feeling I was going to be sick and made a rush for the bathroom. These days, a "rush" is a slow crawl. So, I got to the bathroom, accompanied by nosy Stella and Annabelle, to wait around for 15-20 minutes, decided I was not going to be sick, and went back to bed. It took me forever to get back to sleep, so when the alarm rang at 6:00, I tried to sleep in, but Annabelle and Thatch decided I would not.

Yesterday, all three cats were in a frisky mood, playing tag, playing hide and seek in the new Chewy carton, and romping about most of the day. I wrote the new Phantom of the Opera cue, sent the conductor a note saying I was finished, played at the computer, and that was my day.

I dropped my phone in Ping's car on Friday and won't get it back until this afternoon.

The competition itself was also strange.

Reba and I danced in the first heat at 7:30 am and the second to the last heat at 11:30 pm.

Then Ping and I danced the last heat a few minutes later.

During the day, my partner Sheila got very sick, but she continued to dance for a while with her balance being way off. She finally called it quits and eventually her husband came to take her home.
