We did the casino carpet tour in Las Vegas last summer. Sadly, the carpets had all been replaced with less tacky versions. They weren't as much fun as they used to be.

Remember when Tulsa and Louise ran away and joined a street gang?

Everything has been carted to the basement, and my biggest fear - that Stella would escape into the hall - did not happen. Boy, is it hot outside the apartment.

because the pair of keets ignored or destroyed cuttlebones, I put a couple of little wooden discs at either end of the top perch. I notice them sharpening their beaks there.

But now Elvis has taken to using one of them as a pillow when he takes a nap....he rests his head on it while dozing.

Claude Rains.

There is a bumper on TCM that is narrated by Richard Chamberlain who talks about working with Claude Rains in Twilight Of Honor.

My favorite moment in Casablanca - one of many - is when Rains comes in to answer a complaint about gambling in Rick's and claims to be "shocked....shocked." At that moment a croupier comes up and hands him some money: "Your winnings, sir."

Rains pockets the money says thank you and continues to be shocked.  LOL....

I wonder if there is a compilation of all those TMC bumpers.

Got home from that underwater show late last night, wasn't sleepy, and stayed up reading then fell asleep to some movie on some channel (not TCM) that I have absolutely no memory of now, and then slept in totally later than planned this morning.

Oh wait. I remember catching the end of Boogie Nights on FLIX or something like that. But still no idea what I woke up to later when I turned the TV off.

Sunday morning greetings!

DR Elmore, I remember Peggy and am so sorry she’s dealing with that cruel, cruel disease.  Vibes and prayers for her and Peter.

DITTO, and more vibes. What incredible sadness.

DR Jrand74, about those escaped pigs: If I recall correctly it's happened before. Didn't you cast some of them in one of your shows?
