Glad you are starting to feel better, DR George.

Thanks, Singdaw!

DR George I hope you are feeling better today.

Thanks, Jane, I am.  I woke up with the headache less achey than yesterday, and it's definitely getting better as the day goes on.

Excellent.  Vibes you are back to normal by tomorrow.

Thanks, Jane!

But on the other hand, he's so abhorrent in every way that I can't see or hear of him and think of anything else.

Go for it, Singdaw. ;D

Goodreads send me a lits of anticipated read for the fall.  This comment under a dystopian book completely surprised me.
"Future dystopia books can be hard on the stomach these days because, you know, reality."

Jamshied wore so many musical hats as composer, producer, performer, conductor, arranger, orchestrator, and I'm sure I'm leaving some out. For this group he might be most noteworthy for winning the 2018 Tony for Best Orchestrations for The Band's Visit. One of his first awards was Outstanding Performance at the 1983 Notre Dame Collegiate Jazz Festival as the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble's pianist during his senior year.

I'm sorry your faucets are still leaking, DR Jane. Do you have any recourse with the folks who did all the work?

They have been great.  The plumber has been out multiple times, first trying things to fix it.  Then he spoke to Moen who eventually sent new spouts.  We haven't told them yet that there isn't a difference.

We don't want to go with different faucets as they won't match the others we put in, and we don't expect everything to be replaced when it is working fine.

With all the talk of reading and books here today, I was shocked when I came across this nugget:

Maybe they don't count reading on the phone and on the internet as reading for leisure?

Do people read books on phones and on the internet?

Very interesting.  I don't read every day, but I try to read frequently.

Occasionally I skip a day of reading ;D

Keith knew the Wordle word would be a hard one today, and it was.  Having that knowledge also might be why he got it in three.

Would anyone still eat an unbaked pie with egg in it?

TOD

Vicki Lewis is one of the best things on NewsRadio. BK, any remembrances of working with her? I love her Happy New Year Blues.

Back to pie. I have recipes for Millionaire Pie. The newer versions use cream cheese. Older versions call for oleo and egg.

  Back to pie.

One should always be about going back to pie. In my humble opinion.
