With all the talk of reading and books here today, I was shocked when I came across this nugget:

Very interesting.  I don't read every day, but I try to read frequently.

At least 15 minutes most days if not longer.. I like to travel and the stories I read take me to many different places

Always had fun working with Vicki - it wasn't a lot, but she's hugely funny and a great gal.

And now, before writing some damn notes, I'll proof and cross page 100 - a third of the way through the manuscript.

Made it to page 100. Lots of sentence rearranging, as she has a habit of putting what should be the first part of a sentence as the last part - which gets confusing. That sort of thing.

TOD

Vicki Lewis is one of the best things on NewsRadio. BK, any remembrances of working with her? I love her Happy New Year Blues.

I always thought that it would've been cool if they had done a cross-over episode with Suddenly Susan and had Vicki Lewis' and Kathy Griffin's characters be cousins.

Peach shortbread squares with brown butter are ridiculously easy to make and are ridiculously welcome wherever you take them. We cannot let stone season pass without making them at least once.

It may have something to do with all the shelf staining I did:

A glass shelf in the display case fell and broke....it's all cleaned up now, and I had two shelves but was only using one.

So when someone comes over and put the little shelf holder in (three stayed in place and one fell to the bottom) I just can't see to put it in the little crevice.....

Oh, no!
