I am not too concerned but thanks to everyone for the comments.

As I said I think it's because I hadn't taken my metformin that morning because I didn't want to eat my usual banana to balance out the nausea brought on by my daily pills.

Burning, called C&D, takes longer to heal and there isn't a second biopsy to know if they got all the cancer.

On the other hand, cutting me leaves a bit ugly scar.  Most of all, my scars seem to continue to hurt forever.

DR John, I read Olive Kitteridge and that was enough.  I did not read the sequel or see the miniseries.

I forgot to check my mail on Monday, so BK's book may have arrived then, but I didn't actually get it until yesterday afternoon.  And here it is:

Enjoyed The Shootist last night. Everyone in it is great, but I absolutely love the characters of Beckum the undertaker (played by John Carradine) and Sweeney (played by Richard Boone). They don't make characters, and character actors, like that any more.

DR Jrand75 - if your sugar is too high, just move it to a lower shelf. Problem solved.

DR Chas did you cut or burn out the cancer on your arm?

Cut out. It was a tiny basal cell thingy and the incision was maybe an inch and a half long. It took only a matter of minutes for him to cut, stitch, and send me packing. I do remember it taking longer to completely heal than the Mohs surgeries, but he said things on our head heal the fastest and things on our limbs take longer. This was about four years ago and the scar has basically disappeared.

Mine is more like the one that was on my leg that required way too many stitches.  I should have a call back today telling me how many stitches would be required.
