Tuesday morning greetings!  My sister and niece arrived last Wednesday and we had a delightful time.  We went on a craft shop hop in the Dayton area on Thursday and spent all day Friday playing together in my craft room.  They headed back to Michigan after we joined them for breakfast Saturday morning.

Had a good sleep. Dreamt I was running a rickshaw taxi for a woman and her daughter to a party. Once there I was assigned to her for the entire evening. It wasn’t fun.

It sure sounds like a terrific time!

Yesterday I was playing my CD copy of "Rare Tracks", and we weren't sure which event or which book it was for. I did a little searching in BK's notes, and I'm wondering if it was issued in conjunction with There's Mel... in 2010, which was a couple of years before I was here. It's the one that begins with:

We've got the shows, we've got the stars you want to see... NBC.

The notes also indicated that BK printed a booklet for it (?) - like, a track listing? That would be great to have if anyone has a copy.

On the plane I also watched the first 4 episodes of Schitt’s Creek. And the first 2 episodes of season 3 of The Only Murders in the Building.

Wait, that's it! I was just seeing track numbers on my screen, but the titles are there on what I was originally sent. And it is indeed identified as being from There's Mel...

I think it was DR George who sent me the tracks for 5 CDs, and I do have the book titles for the others. Excellent, and thank you again, George!

I would still love to know who's on all of these, if that information is out there.

Regarding The Soft Skin - it remains one of my favorite Truffaut films, top five. I saw it the day it opened here. I was already loving Francoise Dorleac from That Man from Rio, and I just loved the whole feel of the film and a great performance by the leading man. Also, one of my favorite Delerue scores.

Everything is in the dryers. While I was in the basement, I had a nice telephonic conversation with my brother Randy.

Yes, I am loving these Delerue scores. I think I can say that in the films I've watched this week, they don't blanket the entire movie, they're just there when needed, and the music is wonderful.

I recently read The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. It was OK; not great.

For me it was barely ok.

Will you continue watching Schitt's Creek?  We loved that show.

I love it when Onna White was able to let loose with a great chorus of dancers and a lively song. From Mame. I’ve never seen this before with Angela Lansbury.

I disliked Gone Girl so much that I haven't read anything else by the author.
