I have no idea what a Harvey Wallbanger cake is. I should look it up. Did you take a picture?

I'm afraid I did not. It's very moist. But I think it has some alcohol in it (not so as you can taste it).

The Harvey Wallbanger cake is a retro dessert from the 1970s that is based on the popular Harvey Wallbanger cocktail. It is known for its sweet, citrusy flavor and incredibly moist texture, which it gets from the addition of vodka, Galliano liqueur, and orange juice.

We also don't call them The Big Cheese. That's just what I call him when he's not around.

You're not the only one who has secret nicknames for higher-ups. ;)

Very sweet!

Maybe 60 or so people. That's about 2.5 hours of dishwashing.

Oh, my goodness! :o

Took a nap.

I'm about to take a nap before I work barback for ABRA CADABRA, an ABBA tribute band at the Washington Center later this afternoon.

Enjoy the show, George!  (I assume you get to watch it.)

Thanks, Freddie!  I am.

I do have the option to go in and watch it, but I didn't go in.  I'm in the lobby watching it on the monitor.  It took too long to get ready for intermission, but I'll probably go in after intermission clean-up is done.

I posted this last night, but I want to make sure ya'll see it.

I read on the innerwebs that "they" want to raise the Covid-19 vaccination age to 75. So be sure you get it as soon as you can!

Thanks for the reminder, Laura.  I need to look into that.

Did anyone ever watch Twin Peeks?  I thought it was a soap opera and now see there is much more to the show.  Keith has us watching the first episode tonight.

I watched the original series, but it's been so long, I really don't remember anything about it. :-\

I watched when it was new. Got tired of its eccentricities after a few episodes.

I had co-workers who were obsessed about the show, so we had stuff to talk about each week.

Starting a very odd documentary called Pol Pot Dancing. Apparently Pol Pot’s foster mother ran a dance company.

I hope the ABBA tribute band is fun, George.

Thanks, John!  They are good musicians.

I read the Stephen King-Maurice Sendak Hansel and Gretel. Some of the images are wonderfully disturbing. In one, Sendak has the evil witch flying through the night with bags of captured children around her.

Wow!  That sounds like it would be fun to watch.

It’s a children’s book. And it’s beautiful.

Want to be in bed by 12:30 at the latest, which means in thirty minutes I'll shave and shower and get that out of the way.
