Claudia Cardinale has died. Great beauty and a great presence in 8 1/2 and The Leopard as well as The Pink Panther.

One interesting thing that's happened with the move to eBay - because I blatantly state that we're Kritzerland selling, a couple of people have used their noggin' and come to the site to order and save a couple of bucks that we tack on to help cover the fees. That JUST happened. And it's fine because then there are NO fees at all for us.

Thinking about watching Jimmy [the other] Kimmel tonight in less than an hour.  Time will tell.

I usually watched his monolog the next day on YouTube.

Home again, home again. The Temptations still have it. The Four Tops less so. Still, the audience ate it up. There was an original Temptation. No original Tops survive.

They did perform some of my favorites like Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Ain’t Too Proud, Just My Imagination and, of course, My Girl. Beautiful songs.

Leonard will be my last kitten. He is 7 now, so if he lives a good long life, I'll be too old to outlive a kitten. If I outlive him, I'd get an older cat.

My mom's cat Henry will be her last cat.  It's weird to think that a lot of us are now at a point where we consider age when deciding on getting another pet...but it's a reality. :-\

Had the telephonic call, which had to do with hearing the mix of the Sherman Brothers song - he'll now adjust the one nitpick and the sound of the strings. John, my usual engineer thought it sounded great but agreed about the strings and offered his solution - which sounds exactly right. So, I'll hear the redo later tonight, along with another test we'll do. Then I think we'll mix the other vocals we know we can save and where I think the performance is useable. All those would be bonus tracks and we'd record all new vocals on all the tracks for the main album. I will need a few names, but I have leads here and people who now live here or can get here easily.

That's very exciting, BK!

Had McDonald's for food - not bad today and I just wanted something quick and easy. I ordered extra tartar sauce and got - almost no tartar sauce.

I hate it when that happens!  What I do now is order the tartar sauce on the side, and I invariably get more than just the regular amount. ;)

I interviewed Tveit way back when, I forget what for, but back then he was just Kid Broadway.

I saw him (and Kerry Butler and Norbert Leo Butz and Linda Hart and Tom Wopat) in Catch Me If You Can in Seattle during the pre-Broadway run.  I thought the show was very good!

I think I found the portable reel to reel I would have bought at the May Company back in 1961 - could be a Grundig Cub or TK 1 - both very small and battery operated. There were US versions of these small things, so I'm still researching.
