DR Laura:

Once I reached four cats I realized that was enough.  Maybe if they had all gotten on well I would have added more ;D

I went to the getting place to get things this morning.

When I got home I realized it was more like the FORgetting place.

I may have to go back Friday morning.

Download an app on your phone that lets you make a list.  As you do each thing on the list you can remove it.

My only connection with mohair was as a young kid. I don't remember if it was ours originally, or if it had belonged to one of my grandparents, but we had a mohair-covered armchair.

Let's just say that I can't even imagine wearing mohair. In fact, I didn't know sweaters or anything else had ever been made from it. But I am, after all, here for an education.

I'm thinking that chair might be visible and identifiable in some of our old pictures from the early 50s. Can't do it today, but I'll remember to look for that next time I'm taking a deep dive into that stuff.

Wow, I don't think I have seen a mohair chair.

But I have 32 treat bags, each containing 2 cups of caramel corn, to be sold at Saturday’s fundraiser.

I expect they will be popular.

Urgent care gave me a three day prescription to start until my labs were ready.  Since they weren't good my primary got me a fairly quick appointment with a rheumatologist and sent my pharmacy a new script for the meds with a 30 day supply.

When I picked them up the pharmacist said that the dosage had been changed from 2 a day to 1 a day.  That should absolutely not have happened.

Sure enough, my doctor kept the dosase the same.  Some one made a mistake, either a typo when sent or when printed out.

At least the meds themselves are ok.  I have had the wrong pills put in the bottle, once for me and once for a cat.

That's a good reason to be concerned.  Good that you knew to check what the pharmacist said.

Years ago we purchased this sweater, or one very like it, in Convent Garden during our first trip out of the country.

It happens, people make mistakes so it is always important to know what your doctor orders vs what you receive.

Got back from the doctor at 2:30. And it's been one thing after another ever since, and all of it irritating. I think I got it all straightened out now. More about the doc later.

Here’s a good little TV psychological mystery I remember watching when it aired in 1986.
Starring Mike Farrell, Elliott Gould, Margot Kidder, and Fred Gwynne.

As for me: Wordle:  5/6

Still a worthy result. ;D

Good news that what needed straightening out, got straightened out.
