Since going on the prednisone I have had more energy than usual.  Some people find it too much, for me I think it has really been like a normal person experiences.

Darn if today it hasn't left me.  I hope it returns before I head out this afternoon for my CT.

The most interesting thing I did during my absence was yesterday afternoon.  My friend Lynne and I went to the new performing arts center at the University of Dayton for an author event in the Jewish Community Center’s Cultural Arts and Book Series.  We met up there with Sharon and Sue and enjoyed an interview with Jane Eisner about her new book Carole King: She Made the Earth Move.  Before the interview a UD ensemble called Bella Voce performed a couple of CK songs.  There was a nice dessert buffet and book signing afterwards.

I guess it's time to be watching for my upcoming millstone.

I think this is the first time I've actually been aware of it and remembered.

PUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Freddie, to answer your castrecl question: Into the Woods in previews had a different second act from the show presented on opening night. I think I heard there were three versions. The version I saw was touching and sentimental, with a reunion of the father/narrator, his son (the baker) and the newborn. The version on opening night, of course, has the narrator offered up to the witch.

Frances Farmer in South of Pago Pago shortly after returning to Hollywood after starring in Clifford Odets' GOLDEN BOY.

That's quite a costume Jon Hall is almost wearing.

I agree. ;)

Here is the moment I received the first Jim Poor Award for dedication and service to PCPH.

Handed to me by the Jim's wife - the lovely Emily - who was the best Amanda Wingfield EVER.

That's wonderful, Jrand!  Congrats!

The early version did have the worst Sondheim song I have ever heard: Boom, Crunch.

Yesterday's J&H matinee went quite well.  We were almost sold out, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the performance!

Great.

Thanks, Jane.
