Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the day of my birth, and now it is time for you to post until the birthed cows come home.

Well, yesterday I went to my sister's yesterday to drop off some shopping that she'd asked me to do, but it wasn't late enough to take pictures of the lights that we put up the day before.  I should've taken a "before" picture so that you can see the difference in the dark.  Hopefully, I remember to go back today.  I'm definitely going back on Thursday because she's hosting Thanksgiving at her place. :) My friend David is even coming down from Seattle to join us again!

Jane, we all enjoyed going through the choices for the reading.  And I think it'll be an enjoyable evening for the audience that sees the show.  We'd done evenings of readings before and they were always quite successful.

HOPEFULLY, the appliances that my mom bought for her rental house here in Tumwater will actually be delivered today!  They were cancelled and rescheduled TWICE already. :P We didn't cancell or reschedule them.  It was done by The Home Depot without any reasons.

And now, to bed.  I figure that I'd better get up earlier than I usually do so that I can be ready for the delivery...whenever it'll happen.

Have a good day, all!

When I was rudely awakened by my alarm this morning, I felt like I'd truly been run over by a slow moving freight train. And for no good reason. Isn't it aggravating when it's for no damned good reason? I was perfectly good last night and went to sleep at a decent hour. I did have the Doris Day movies playing softly in the background, maybe I stayed awake longer than I'm remembering.

I wanna see Gregory Peck and Laraine Day in Angel Street! I love the play. Around 1973 I saw a beautiful production, directed by Anthony Perkins for Cincinnati's Playhouse in the Park. I couldn't tell you now who was in the cast - they were all excellent - but I still remember very well the end of the scene where, after interviewing the victimized wife, the police inspector exits, leaving his hat behind. I think everyone in the audience was thinking loudly, GET YOUR HAT! GET YOUR HAT! GET YOUR HAT!

I wonder if Peck played the killer husband or the kinfly police inspector?

I slept restlessly; it's too warm this week to sleep in a bed winterized for temperatures below 32 degrees F.

After I take the trash to the basement and pick up the mail, I must vacuum. After that - heving already written my fugue - I want to sit down and sketch out the prelude for the new ballet.

We're having a low-keyed Thanksgiving Day this year in comparison with some years. With the work on the laundry room being finished today, and delivery of the new machines on Friday, and stuff scattered all about because of the work, the house is something of a horror show. But our schedules have been ridiculous, too, and we're going to keep cooking to a minimum and just enjoy a peaceful day.

It was too warm in this house, too!

It only went down to near 50 through the night, and I could literally have turned the heat completely off for sleeping. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt it was too warm, but I was so zonked that I didn't do anything about it.
