Tonight’s Thanksgiving Eve dinner was wonderful. I have been getting together with these friends for 24 or 25 years.

I limited myself to the salad bar, and I am stuffed to the gills.

Candied bacon, cheeses and salami, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, tabbouleh, Waldorf, chicken salad, Brazilian potato salad, and so much more.

I’m now watching the second half of the first Maigret mystery. It’s not Maigret. I’m trying to decide if I like it as a TV mystery.

Oh, happiest of birthdays to the founder of this feast, the man who gave me my Rodzinski name, and the phrase, “science is my pie.” A very merry un-birthday to the rest of us. But to BK, happy day!

Before I do, the Anthony Perkins' directed production of Angel Street at Playhouse in the Park was April 1971. It starred Roni Dengel, Bill Moor, Jack Gwilliam, Pamela Simpson, Barbette Tweed. Tickets were six dollars. If you wanted to see a movie, playing were Cold Turkey, Husbands, Gimme Shelter, Trash, THX 1138, Tora, Tora, Tora, Song of Norway, The Night Visitor, A New Leaf, Little Big Man, Ryan's Daughter, Love Story, Little Murders, The Last Valley, and quite a few sleazy horror movies on triple bills. On April 2 you could attend a special sneak preview, one showing only, rated GP. While the film isn't named, it is from Warner Bros. and directed by T.C. Frank - so - Billy Jack.

I was just a few days old, so this is basically the world of my birth!
