Congratulations on your winnings, DR George!

Thanks, Singdaw!  Now, I just need to deposit it into my checking account. :)

But you are keeping us in great suspense...
Did you find out where the water shutoff is located?

Yes!  The city's water guy showed up and turned it off.  He also said that the shut-off valve that we found the other night WAS for the neighbor. ::)

BUT, he also said that it's illegal for anyone other than city employees to shut off the water, so, we'll always have to call to have that done. :o

I was part of the Wells Fargo garbage in which the bank just issued credit cards to bank customers without my having applied for it. I hate crap like that.

They had my mortgage and were decent about that. Why abuse it?

Oh, my goodness!  Hopefully, things like that never happen again!

George, do you now know how to shut the water off at the rental house?

Edit, I see Singdaw already asked this question before I did.

Yes, I do:  make a call.

But then I keep playing and I win more than I lose, so I keep going.  Eventually, I quit because I just didn't want to lose, so I left the casino with this:

You more than doubled your money, and had fun doing it :)

Definitely!

Well I went out to shovel 4" of snow off my sidewalk and driveway.

It was hard work.  I was a bit more than halfway done. A car pulled up in front of the neighbro's house [I just made up a new word] and delivered his lunch.

She was getting back in her car and hollered over "You want me to finish that for you, honey?"

I said: "Thanks...but you're working."

She came over and said that's okay - I'll just go on pause for a few minutes.

She came over and finished the job in about six minutes. I gave her $6 which she didn't want to take but I made her.  Then she gave me her phone number and said to call her if I needed anything else done. Her name is Sheila.

So that was a wonderful happenstance today on Fairlane Drive

Wow...that was quite nice if her.

We have morning appointments to get our teeth cleaned.  The plan was to skip a check with the doctor today, however, I guess I need to talk with him about what I am dealing with as it is affecting my jaw, and can cause issues with me teeth.

The first time I've seen a video of the full song sung by Lea Michele in the show

First good bit of news today: I will be getting some Money from the first month of book sales. Jen did not have a power cable that would work for the HP printer, but she found one on Amazon, so I've ordered one. If it hopefully is the problem, then I'm spared the cost of a new printer, when/if I can afford one.

Congrats on the book money, Larry!  And good luck with the power cable!!

Apparently, food is NOT on its way. Order placed at 10:20, it went through and took me to the delivery map. And yet, I just checked on it and it never went through nor was I charged for it. So, placed it again and now it's an hour wait.

Oh, my!  That's too bad that it never went through. :P

Well, my dermatology appointment went pretty well.  They gave me samples of a new medication to try.  There may be some gastrointestinal side effects ::) but we'll see.

I now need to get some keys made, then I'll check the rental to make sure that the dishwasher worked (I forgot to check it last night).

That’s crazy that you can’t shut your own water off. What if there’s an emergency leak or something?

If I eat something when I take medications, it's helped to avoid gastrointestinal side effects when they're mentioned; maybe it's something to ask a pharmacist about.
Plus, it's pretty much always nice to eat something. :)
