I survived middle school.

Is there life after middle school?

The half day has turned into a full day. The middle school students are all taking tests. But they just cannot keep quiet.

Are you paid by the hour, at least?

I’m paid by the day, I think.

So it may be the same whether it's a half day or a full day?

Decking the halls is going much faster and more smoothly than last year.  Then, the decorations were all packed according to where they’d been used in our old house.  Now, it’s all packed to coordinate with this house and I took pictures in January when I put it all away.  Today I’ve accomplished what took me at least a week to get done last year.

But you are keeping us in great suspense...
Did you find out where the water shutoff is located?

Yes!  The city's water guy showed up and turned it off.  He also said that the shut-off valve that we found the other night WAS for the neighbor. ::)

Did you let the neighbor know?

BUT, he also said that it's illegal for anyone other than city employees to shut off the water, so, we'll always have to call to have that done. :o

What!  The house is flooding and you need to call the city to turn off the water-ummm I hope not.  Did you see where it is so you can do it in the future if needed?

George, do you now know how to shut the water off at the rental house?

Edit, I see Singdaw already asked this question before I did.

Yes, I do:  make a call.

We have morning appointments to get our teeth cleaned.  The plan was to skip a check with the doctor today, however, I guess I need to talk with him about what I am dealing with as it is affecting my jaw, and can cause issues with me teeth.

~~~Teeth and Jaw Vibes for Jane!!~~~
Thank you.  I survived the dentist and my jaw doesn't seem any worse.  Hopefully I won't feel differently tomorrow.
Well, my dermatology appointment went pretty well.  They gave me samples of a new medication to try.  There may be some gastrointestinal side effects ::) but we'll see.
Good luck that is works well without the side effects.
That’s crazy that you can’t shut your own water off. What if there’s an emergency leak or something?
Or that there aren't individual shut off valves inside for different areas in the house.
If I eat something when I take medications, it's helped to avoid gastrointestinal side effects when they're mentioned; maybe it's something to ask a pharmacist about.
Plus, it's pretty much always nice to eat something. :)
Food often helps.
