I'm up, I'm up - eight and a half hours of sleep. I've already forgotten what I was dreaming about.

As soon as I started to move, my stomach did a somersault, I turned from the window to the kitchen, started to move, and threw up all over the floor. I;m very happy I missed Thatch who was sleeping in my computer chair. I spent the next hour cleaning myself, getting the soiled clothes into the laundry, and mopping up the floor. After kitty cleanup, I will do a fast mop of the bathroom and kitchen areas.

Oh, no! :o Hope you're feeling much better today, Larry!!

Tonight, we're not going to play Phase 10, so my mom and I are going to the local casino to donate some money. ;)

:) Good luck at the casino, George!

Thanks, Freddie!

DR John, my entire book group liked The Briar Club.

I’m a third of the way through. It’s occasionally overwritten, but I am hooked.

I'm not surprised.  I didn't expect it to grab me like it did.

Futzed and finessed and wrote two new pages. Must order food now, eat it, do banking, and then I'll try to write another four or five pages before leaving for the theater.

Yes. I wasn’t expecting it either. It makes up for whoppers of anachronisms. I can’t remember any, but each had made me groan.

Food ordered. Chopped Eyetalian salad from CPK - haven't had it in months.

Granted, it's much further up north than where I am, but it could still affect those of us lower in the state.

In case you’ve been hankering for some tango with a castanet soloist.

Since moving here we have been told the big one will hit Portland, and of course us.  I think this is why I like TILT by Emma Pattee as it takes place in one day in Portland, the day of the big quake.

Our heavier frames on the walls are secured with "quake proof" backings.  We have a lantern and smaller flashlights, batteries, and water.  That's about it.  We barely have canned food stocked up.  We were much better prepared when we lived in Ashland.
